The Center is the only private nonprofit of its kind in Colorado. We depend on individual contributions and support from foundations, businesses and community organizations to make these programs available.

Our client’s stories aren’t front page news.  People don’t think about the hardships endured by those who can’t communicate.

The Center has a waiting list of people that we can help!  A small donation will go a long way in helping people of all ages who are cut off from life.

Your Donation Makes Sliding Scale Fees Possible

Our services are available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. That's why your donation is so important. Anyone can apply for our financial assistance program if you can't afford our services. If you can afford services, your fees will go right back into providing services for other less fortunate individuals.

Individual Donors

We have relied on donors and volunteers since 1918 when we first started helping people improve their ability to communicate. Our generous supporters have made it possible for us to provide our charitable programs. These services meet a huge need in our community by helping people who are unable to pay and who would otherwise not have access to professional help or treatment.

The demand for these services has increased significantly. At the same time, society has placed more emphasis on the need for communication skills. We help nearly 8,000 people each year - and thousands more need us. You can help us reach more people by making a donation of money or a contribution of your time.
